To whom it may concern

I was a little worried when I read reviews about your drive, and a few other reviews about the cost of dinner etc but my husband had booked this as a birthday present so I didnt want to upset him. When  we arrived I was blown away it was like a little piece of magic tucked away in the woods. We drive a porche and  had no problems with the drive . Dinner was everything I wanted it to be in fact I was so stuffed I just flaked out on the sofa and didnt have an evening  swim like Id promised myself.Both DeeDee and Philip you have a great place, whatever is it you do keep doing it. We are bringing my mum and dad for their 50th wedding anniversary next year  they will love it. It is so quiet and peaceful , all I could hear was the rustling of the trees and a pheasant at dusk. I have already told my brother and his partner to book for a get away from the kids.

me and my husband have just got back from staying in the chestnut suite .....we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door ....the valentines meal was just mouth watering and the breakfast was gorgeous ...everyone was very polite and friendly and cant wait to come back to stay again

You really made me feel welcome during my short stay and the lodge was simply "idyllic!!" It was a shame I couldn't enjoy the lodge and its facilities in its entirety (too hungover for a swim!) but hope to stay with you again in the future.

 I was a bit sceptical when my partner said we were staying in a lodge , situated around a restaurant in North Norfolk ... somehow I imagined a chalet, or a wooden hut, but I couldnt believe my eyes. I was taken to a  beautifully decorated  room (larger than most hotel rooms ) which ticked all the boxes for Cleanliness, warmth and  feeling of cosiness.A bottle of champgane was sitting waiting and my weekend got off to a fantastic start. Thank you DeeDee for all your help.

A big thankyou for our stay in The Oak this weekend. It was the stuff that dreams are made of. From sitting in front of a wood burner on a cold wet afternoon to the fabulous food and welcome we recieved. We enjoyed the privacy of our own space with views accross the orchard. Thank you  again.

We don't come across many places that deliver this level of overall service and quality so had to drop you a big thanks.
Found you last minute and had an excellent stay in the Tamerisk Suite I have never stayed in a place so peaceful. The hosts are brilliant and work exceptionally hard to ensure you have a perfect stay. The food was excellent with a great selection considering they only have 6 suites to cater definitely recommend to everyone looking to stay in this area of Norfolk.

We have visited my Mum in Cromer in her nursing home every two months for the last two years. Fell upon Felbrigg Lodge by accident and have stayed three times now. I love the quiet laid back almost sleepy feeling that comes over me when I enter down the long drive DeeDee always greets me with a big smile and I feel instantly welcome and important. Thank you for a lovely welcoming stay at Felbrigg Lodge. We stayed in Bramble and thought it was fantastic and will be booking again. Breakfast was relaxed and not rushed and a good choice on the menu. As for Bentley the resident dog, well we fell in love with him and he could have come home with us. We found Felbrigg Lodge after searching for a last minute break and have thanked our lucky stars ever since!! It is FANTASTIC!! It is difficult to know where to start the praise but as they say in no particular order, Dee Dee is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble - we were treated like royalty, we stayed at Bracken Junior Suite for 2 nights and the surroundings (superb mature site down a long drive), quality and standard of accommodation was exceptional, we booked half board and the food choice was varied, well presented and very tasty! Eliot (age 10) and us (his parents aged a little more) loved the warm pool which we managed 3 one hour sessions in almost alone! The beautiful lake of Felbrigg Hall and the hall itself is a lovely stroll up the long drive across a short section of road and through mature woodland, with breath taking vistas...this walk is a must!! This place is unbeaten for a relaxed (and romantic) stay.  If you want a high quality stay in beautiful part of the world Felbrigg Lodge should be your first choice...we had a fantastic time and absolutely adored it....can't wait to return! - Andy Bird - May 2009

We had a fantastic weekend based at Felbrigg. We stayed in the Oak Pavilion, which was a beautiful room with plenty of space to relax. We used the pool, which was great, and really enjoyed the excellent food. It's a great base for exploring the Norfolk coast, and we walked a few miles along the beaches around Cromer, as well as driving through many of the small coastal towns.  -  Andrew Fryatt -  March 2009

I work in London, love walking and cycling and birdwatching  so my girlfriend organised a stay in The Oak . I was blown away. It reminded me of a place in New Zealand. We lit the fire, drank too much ate too much and felt totally relaxed and at peace with the world. We have booked the whole place for my 30th birthday in July. What a venue. It was our first wedding anniversary I had booked to stay in another hotel, to be told it had been sold and closed for refurbishment. So I booked to stay at Felbrigg Lodge. We got lost trying to find it ! It rained and we arrived after having a blazing row...Not a good start. When we woke on the Saturday the sun was streaming through the windows the quietness hit me and after a fantastic breakfast cooked by Phil we went on to have the best weekend ever. We visited Holt and Blakeney. We walked into Felbrigg Estate and had the best steak for years in the Ivy Restaurant. Last year my daughter came over from Australia with her children, we took over all six rooms and had a family get together. The kids all loved the swimming pool. Feeding the horses and playing cricket with Philip and DeeDee's children. We designed a menu to suit everyone and none of us had to do a thing, not even the washing up!! I will remember that trip for ever...We revisited last week. It was still as wonderful. The food was still as piping hot and the welcome still as warm.
