Convalescence Breaks at Felbrigg Lodge.
In April 2016 Philip Lomax one of the owners of Felbrigg Lodge Hotel was diagnosed with Throat Cancer and as you can imagine it rocked the Wold of Philip and DeeDee his wife.
When you sit in the chair in a hospital and the Doctor says YES it is Cancer, you sit numb for what seems like an age until a million questions enter your head.
We have sat in that chair, we have heard those words, and we have felt that fear.
They realized in the midst of fear and uncertainty they needed to organise a Convalescence break to look forward to at the end of the grueling treatment that lay ahead.
When DeeDee googled and looked she was disappointed to find very few hotels offered a place like Felbrigg Lodge that will go the extra mile for their guests with their dietary requirements, or offer free room service at breakfast time for the convenience of guests who are recovering from their treatments and their carers.
Someone to talk to who could offer empathy and understanding.
Every two Seconds in the UK someone is given the news that they have Cancer
Cancer patients are young and old and they will be facing the hardest challenge of their lives.
All we would ask is that you share this website page with someone in your circle who would benefit from a few days Convalescence.
