Hi, I am Philip Lomax  I was born and brought up in the beautiful county of Norfolk, and together with my wife DeeDee who is a larger than life Essex girl, are the proud owners of probably the most relaxing hotels in north Norfolk.

We have over forty-three years of experience in the hotel industry.

We are both still as passionate about ensuring our guests have a unique and memorable experience when staying with us.

DeeDee spent time in some of the most prestigious hotels in London, including the Royal Lancaster and the Park Lane.   From the age of thirteen I dreamt of owning my own hotel and as part of four years of training in Hospitality management, I was fortunate enough to work at the highly acclaimed Le Tolbooth Restaurant and Maison Talbooth Hotel at Dedham in Essex, with renowned restaurateur Gerald Milsom.

In 1982 I fulfilled my dream and bought my first property Green Farm in the village of Thorpe Market.  Over the next twenty-eight years, we developed this into a  Twenty bedroom unit and thriving wedding venue and successful one hundred cover restaurant.

In 2007 looking for a new challenge we were lucky enough to acquire Felbrigg Lodge one of Norfolk’s best-kept secrets.

During the last sixteen years, we have worked tirelessly at our North Norfolk Hotel to create a unique experience that allows guests to kick back, relax, de-stress, unwind and recharge their batteries.

Our small team of staff ( happiness facilitators)  are hand-picked to offer a warm caring friendly and professional service. Always prepared to go the extra mile to satisfy individual customer needs.

As Head Chef with Tristan my eldest son and Ginny, we create imaginative, mouth-watering menus for our restaurant using fresh local seasonal produce when available.

We welcome the opportunity when guests liaise with us to cater for all dietary requirements.

The area offers much to see and do but firm favourites with DeeDee and myself would be Holkham Beach and Felbrigg Park

Felbrigg Lodge comprises Seven  En suites Rooms each with its own unique character and style. Willow Walnut, Hedgehog cottage and Bracken have their own private Hot Tubs. Guest staying in the other suites can enjoy the hot Tub located down at the Indoor heated Swimming Pool.
